State Museum of Country Architecture and Life in Ozertso (18 km of Minsk) displays all ethnographic regions of Belarus with typical features of buildings, way of living, and everyday house ware, tools, kitchenware, glassware, earthenware, etc. About one hundred of building objects such as peasant houses ("khatas"), dependencies, taverns, mills, smith shops, wells, country school, church are situated on the area of more than 100 hectares (about 0.4 square mile). Thousands of exhibits show peasant tools, house utensils, national dresses. All exhibits of the museums represent authentic things brought from various regions of Belarus.

Nobody is forgotten…

The small village of Khatyn was burnt down together with its 149 residents (75 children among them) by the Nazis on March 22, 1943. In the picturesque Raubichi in the former Krestogorskaya Church there are museum of folk costumes from all regions of Belarus. Glory Mound was built in honor of the Soviet Army, which liberated Belarus from the German Nazi invaders in 1944.

Zaslavl is the ancient city

Mir-Nesvizh

Polotsk

Brest-Brest fortress

Brest is situated in the western part of Belarusian Polessye. The first mention about it belongs to 1017. The unification of Catholic and Orthodox was proclaimed in Brest at the end of the XVI century in the territory of Rzechpospolita under supremacy of Catholic. Belovezha forest reserve
